Who: Individuals working in the cancer field to navigate patients through the cancer continuum including prevention, screening, treatment, and survivorship and those who are interested in patient navigation.  Where: The Conference Center at Sheppard Pratt6501 North Charles Street Towson, MD 21285 Website: http://www.sheppardpratt.org/conference-center/ Free Parking on Site  Time: Registration and Networking Breakfast: ~8:00- 8:45 AM Meeting Start Time: ~8:50 AM  Cost: FREE!  Registration Closes: June 1, 2018 Highlights Include: Hearing from national and local speakers that are experts in topics pertaining to patient navigation and cancer care  Learning about resources available to cancer patients and their families Networking with other navigators across the state Certificates of attendance will be distributed (upon request) 2018 Agenda Networking breakfast: Beginning at 8:00 AM, during breakfast we will offer structured opportunities to network with fellow attendees across the state of Maryland. Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards to exchange with others.   Keynote Speaker: Opioid Addiction and Mental Health (tentative) Keynote Speaker: Lillie Shockney will present on "Advancing Concepts in Survivorship Care Personalized Cancer Care: Changing Perspectives and Approaches".  Afternoon breakout session topics include: Breakout session A: Hospice Care Breakout session B: Mammography: 2D vs. 3D - What are the Differences, Benefits, Recommendations, and Future of Mammography Breakout session C: Promoting Cancer Screening: Challenges and Successes Special Instructions: Please bring business cards to exchange with others throughout the day. Please bring any resources (e.g., your program's brochure or pamphlet) that you wish to share with others.
