Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management will begin their “Building a Better World Through Business” (BBWTB) event series with a keynote address by Casey Gerald, co-founder and former CEO of MBAs Across America. He will present “Purpose Is the New Bottom Line” on Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in McManus Theatre.

Gerald co-founded MBAs Across America in 2013 when he and three Harvard Business School classmates asked, “What if we used our education not to make a buck, but to make a difference?” They drove 8,000 miles across America in an RV to work with purpose-driven entrepreneurs and launched a three-year program connecting business students with small businesses.

His work has been featured in The New York Times, Financial Times and Forbes and on NPR and the HLN documentary series “Growing America.” Gerald was featured on the cover of Fast Company’s “Find Your Mission” issue and presented the closing talk at TED2016. He is writing his first book, “There Will Be No Miracles Here.”
