As an original member of Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man achieved multi-Platinum success. However, his solo career was equally blazing throughout the '90s. His debut album, Tical, was released in 1994 and featured the hit single "All I Need" featuring the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul - Mary J. Blige. The single propelled album sales to Platinum status and earned Method Man a Grammy Award. In 1997, Method rejoined Wu-Tang to release Wu Tang Forever, which has sold over eight million copies since its release. In 1998, Method Man released his sophomore set, Tical 2000: Judgement Day, and toured with Jay-Z on the Hard Knock Life Tour, to promote his various projects.

In addition to his collaboration with Wu-Tang, Method Man is one-half of a duo with Redman. Together, they have released two albums and will release their third effort, Blackout! 3, in 2011. The duo have appeared in various film and TV projects including the hit comedy How High. Method Man is a Hip-Hop legend with Platinum plaques and hit singles to his credit. Badu won another Grammy in 1999 for her collaboration with The Roots on the hauntingly beautiful track "You Got Me". Badu returned in 2000 with Mama's Gun and hit road on the Frustrated Artist Tour, an allusion to the fact that she was suffering from a bout of writer's block. The lack of creativity was short-lived, however, and Badu returned in 2003 with the upbeat Worldwide Underground album which reached #3 on the Billboard 200. Badu embarked on the Worldwide Underground Tour which culminated in an era of productivity for Badu.

In 2007, Badu released New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) and in 2010 she released New Amerykah part Two (Return of the Ankh). NAS: Nas changed the rap game when he released his debut album, Illmatic, in 1994. The prodigal rapper offered his take on society, African culture, and life on the streets, proving that rap was more than hot beats. The oft-politically charged rapper has managed to produce socially relevant and conscious material for nearly two decades and continues to produce some of the most inspiring and cognizant lyrics in Hip-Hop today. Nas tour dates have been scheduled nationally and the Brooklyn MC will be bringing his message and his rhymes to a venue near you. The Brooklyn native was born to jazz musician, Olu Dara, and began writing raps at age nine. Hip-Hop and Rap were exploding on the Brooklyn scene in the '80s and had a heavy influence on the budding MC. By 1992, Nas had secured a recording deal with Columbia Records who released his debut album in 1994. The album is one of a handful to receive all "Five Mics" from The Source magazine and is considered a Hip-Hop classic. It was a throwback to the socially conscious rhymes of rap music a decade earlier and solidified Nas as not only a rap star but a lyricist-poet. He followed up with It Was Written in 1996 and he recorded an album with the rap supergroup - The Firm; both of which have been certified Platinum. Nas tour dates and concerts were scheduled periodically throughout the nation during his rise to fame.

Nas closed out the '90s with two critically panned albums, I Am and Nastradamus, before returning to the graces of the critics and the public alike. Stillmatic was released in 2002, signaling Nas' return to the clever lyrics that made him famous. The album featured the Grammy nominated single, "One Mic". He continued the trend with God's Son in 2002, which was hailed by Time magazine as the best hip-hop album of the year. Nas followed up with the praiseworthy double-album, Street Disciple, and reconciled with former rival, Jay-Z. Nas then signed to Def Jam and released Hip Hop Is Dead in 2006, which gave the rapper his largest first sales-week ever. The album debuted at #1 selling 355,000 copies in its maiden week. A Nas concert benefitting the victims of the Virginia Tech shooting was scheduled in 2007 and Nas also contributed a track to the Academy Award winning film, Blood Diamond.

Nas released his most recent untitled album in 2008, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2009. At the ceremonies, Nas confirmed that he will be working on a collabo album with Reggae star Damien Marley. Since releasing his last album in 2008, Nas toured Europe and North America while writing rhymes for his latest album, Life Is Good, which is due out later this year. In the meantime, the critically acclaimed artist still manages to find time to perform throughout the year. Currently, Nas tour dates and concert performances are scheduled periodically throughout 2011. Don't miss a date on the Nas concert schedule 2011.
