A production of Maryland Public Television (MPT), MotorWeek is television’s longest running automotive series. The series debuted in 1981 and launched a new television genre by becoming the first weekly series to offer consumer-oriented car and truck reviews, do-it-yourself car care tips, and the latest auto industry news. Now in its 37th season, MotorWeek is seen weekly on PBS stations nationwide, Discovery’s Velocity channel, and internationally via Voice of America television. For more information, visit MotorWeek’s website, YouTube channel, iTunes library, and social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Proceeds from the MotorWeek Golf Tournament benefit MPT Foundation, Inc. A private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, the MPT Foundation was established in 1981 to encourage increased funding for MPT and to receive donations and grants on MPT’s behalf. Events such as this provide funding for MPT to offer valued programs plus educational, outreach, telecommunications, and virtual initiatives that touch the lives of tens of thousands of Marylanders annually.
